We are seeking to recruit a Band 4 PA to join our fantastic multi-disciplinary teams within the Hospital. The successful candidate will provide efficient and confidential secretarial support to members of our Senior Leadership Team.

Wathwood Hospital is a purpose-built 78 bed adult male medium secure Hospital. Located in its own grounds and surrounded by open countryside and woods, it caters for those aged over 18 years who require assessment and treatment of mental health difficulties in a secure environment. Wathwood Hospital is part of Nottinghamshire Healthcare, which is one of the country’s leading mental health and learning disability service providers, employing over 10000 staff to provide these services over more than 100 sites.
The four wards allow a gradual progression so patients can develop their life skills and become better prepared for life in a less restrictive environment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and highly motivated PA to provide an efficient, comprehensive and confidential secretarial and administrative service to members of the Senior Leadership Team at Wathwood Hospital within the Adult Mental Health Directorate.
Therefore, applicants will need to:
· Have excellent interpersonal skills
· The ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
· Be able to work flexibly
· Produce high quality reports within agreed deadlines, as required
· Undertake office duties including complex diary management
· Facilitate meetings/investigations/disciplinaries including venue bookings, refreshments, producing and circulating agendas, recording attendance and accurate minute taking

Responsible for all aspects of personal assistant support, working to optimum levels in terms of efficiency and organisation.
Produce high quality reports within agreed deadlines as required.
Undertake office duties including complex diary and e-mail management.
Production and collation of complex and sensitive documents.
Compose and type letters and other documentation as required.
Facilitate meetings/investigations/disciplinaries including venue booking, refreshments, producing and circulating agendas, recording attendance and accurate minute taking.
To work effectively both independently and as a team member.
To undertake any other duties that would be a reasonable expectation of the role.
Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.
You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies
