Summary
Student Support & Engagement:
• Serve as a point of contact for students, offering guidance and support in academic and non academic matters.
• Foster a supportive community by addressing students’ concerns, needs, and feedback.
Student Wellbeing & Welfare:
• Monitor and promote student wellbeing, providing advice and referrals to relevant services
when necessary.
• Organise and lead wellbeing initiatives to help students navigate challenges and promote resilience.
Communication & Outreach:
• Maintain effective communication channels between students and institutional departments to ensure information is shared efficiently.
• Represent the student body in meetings, committees, and other institutional activities.
Event Planning & Coordination:
• Plan and coordinate social, academic, and additional events that enhance student life on campus.
• Monitor and evaluate the success of events, gathering feedback to inform future initiatives.
Student Advocacy:
• Collect student feedback via surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one interactions to drive continuous improvement in services and initiatives.
• Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to improve student retention, satisfaction, and engagement.
Data Management & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions, events, attendance, and feedback to inform decision making.
• Prepare reports on student experience trends, concerns, and achievements for senior leadership.
• Analyse data to identify opportunities for enhancing student experience and engagement.
