Ready to impact a better future? As an Ramp Services Senior Trainer in our UK and EU Defence team, you’ll shape and develop a highly skilled workforce, ensuring training meets strict regulatory standards while keeping safety at the heart of everything you do. Your work will directly support critical airfield operations and help maintain a safe, effective environment.
In this role, you’ll create a positive impact by building capability across teams, enabling colleagues to perform at their very best. From driving compliance with aviation regulations to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and zero harm, your contribution will help protect people, assets, and operations while supporting a future built on trust, care, and innovation.
What you’ll do as a Ramp Services Senior Trainer
You’ll be entrusted to:
Deliver training and assessment programmes aligned with CAA, MAA, MoD, and Serco standards
Develop and maintain a competent, authorised workforce through effective training coordination and oversight
Monitor and manage training records, ensuring compliance and audit readiness
Promote a strong zero harm culture, ensuring safe working practices and proactive reporting
Support continuous improvement initiatives across airfield services operations
Deputise for senior operational roles when required, maintaining operational effectiveness

Does this sound like you?
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:
Experience in aircraft handling and operational airfield environments
Proven team leadership and the ability to develop and motivate colleagues
A Level 3 assessing qualification (or equivalent) in workplace competency
Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement
SC clearance or no issues obtaining one.

This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards. In addition, depending on the nature of the role, you may need to obtain formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments. Please note that UK residency requirements may apply for certain levels of clearance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
