We are expanding our team and looking for a skilled, professional Maintenance Person who takes pride in their work and enjoys delivering a great customer experience.
The Role
As a Maintenance Person at Metrifix, you will carry out a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks across domestic and commercial properties. Typical duties include:
General Repairs — minor carpentry, patch repairs, fixtures, fittings
Locks & Doors — adjustments, replacements, basic repairs
Decorating — painting, filling, finishing
Cleaning & Clearance — end‑of‑tenancy, communal areas, light clearance
Grounds Maintenance — basic outdoor upkeep
Gutter Cleaning — using ladders and safe working practices
You’ll represent the Metrifix brand on site, ensuring work is completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard.
What We’re Looking For
Multi‑trade experience across general maintenance
Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach
Excellent communication and customer service
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Full UK driving licence
Own tools required
A positive, reliable and professional attitude
