An exciting opportunity to join Manorcrest as an Operations Assistant Apprentice, supporting the day-to-day running of a busy and growing property development business.

This role sits within the Operations team, giving you exposure to a wide range of business activities including project coordination, administration, finance processes, and communication with consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

You will gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised Business Administration qualification, with real responsibility and the opportunity to develop practical skills in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
· Provide general administrative support to the Operations team
· Assist with coordinating live development projects and tracking progress
· Maintain and update internal trackers, spreadsheets, and records
· Support document management, filing, and version control
· Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers via email and phone
· Assist with preparing reports, meeting notes, and internal communications
· Support finance-related admin tasks (e.g. processing invoices, tracking payments, handling queries)
· Monitor shared inboxes and ensure queries are directed appropriately
· Assist with organising meetings, agendas, and follow-up actions
· Ensure accurate and professional record-keeping across all business activities

Future Prospects:
Potential for a permanent position upon completion of apprenticeship.

Our projects range from large-scale housing developments to infrastructure delivery, utilities coordination, and ongoing property management. This means our operations team sits at the centre of the business—supporting directors, managing workflows, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring projects run efficiently from planning through to completion.

As a Business Administration Apprentice within our Operations team, you will gain hands-on experience in a real working environment. You will support day-to-day business functions including project coordination, document management, reporting, communication with external stakeholders, and general office operations. You will work closely with senior team members and gain exposure to how a growing property development business is run.

Training Provided: BPP apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry-experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge, we’ve purposefully built our programmes around the real-world use of modern technology, so that the skills we create can be directly applied in the workplace.

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.

Skills Required:
Essential:
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Basic IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
· A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload
· Professional and reliable approach to work

Desirable:
· Interest in property, construction, or business operations
· Previous office or admin experience (not essential)
· Confidence communicating with a range of people
