Railway safety campaigns

Keeping people safe on the railway is at the heart of everything we do.

As the operator of the railway, we’re responsible for keeping passengers and those who live or work near the railway safe. We take this responsibility very seriously, so we do all we can to raise awareness of how to stay safe on the railway.

To help keep people as safe as possible we run mass media behaviour change campaigns, highlighting the dangers and risks in a rail environment which can lead to fatal consequences.

We aim to educate and persuade passengers and the public to behave safely at our stations and level crossings.

We’re proud of our award-winning campaign work. It has brought the rail industry together with key stakeholders and the general public to raise awareness.
