Ingrebourne Valley limited have a wealth of experience in aggregate extraction, crushing and screening.
We are currently looking for Site Labourers to join our teams in Essex. Candidates must be happy working within a quarry environment and have a strong work ethic. This role is for a minimum of 39 hours a week but with overtime is more likely to be higher with an immediate start date.
Role Responsibility
As the successful candidate, you will be a part of the Quarry Labouring team which produces aggregate material for the construction industry.
The Ideal Candidate
Enthusiastic, committed and a fast learner with previous experience of a quarry or similar environment as an operative or labourer.
Strong communication skills and willingness to take instruction.
Ability to work with individuals across departments and liaise with external customers and contacts
You will need our own transport owing to the rural location of the site
Main tasks
Loading and unloading of material either into store or across the site. This will involve manual handling of heavy and/or awkward objects.
Perform housekeeping duties around site, including shovelling.
Reports any problems to supervisor.
To wear PPE at all times
To act in accordance with the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and practices.
Performs other duties as directed
Working days Monday - Friday and Saturday morning as required
