Summary


The role involves maintaining the technology infrastructure, including installations, configuration, upgrades, and support of all client systems infrastructure on desktops and virtual Windows servers.

It also includes supporting the Trust's electronic patient record system, EPIC, and providing technical guidance and support to colleagues to deliver seamless 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support services.
• Support and assist Digital IT Support and End User Technology colleagues in planning, organising, and delivering high-quality end-user technologies consistent with healthcare industry standards and EPIC best practices.
• Provide technical expertise in the administration of supporting infrastructure and applications, including maintaining antivirus systems, VDI environments, hardware asset management, and mobile device management tools.
• Support the maintenance of the Trust's systems and applications in both on-premises and cloud-based environments.
• Advise and support Digital Support and End User Technology colleagues on capacity and availability management, recommending efficient and effective solutions.
• Lead on the installation, configuration, management, maintenance, and monitoring of all workspace devices, hardware, and software upgrades in line with Trust standards.
• Provide specialist technical advice on the security and confidentiality protection of the Trust’s PCs, mobile devices, and data against external and internal security breaches.
• Ensure the management, monitoring, and resolution of incidents, problems, and service requests in own areas in line with agreed timescales, processes, and procedures.
• Support and assist Digital Support and End User Technology colleagues in delivering seamless digital support services, covering 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support with knowledge sharing at the core.
