We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lincolnshire to assist with the appointment of a Customer Service Advisor Out of Hours, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £12.76 - £16.49 per hour

Summary:
We're looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join Lincolnshire County Council's Out of Hours Team. Acting as the first point of contact for emergency and urgent enquiries, you'll handle sensitive calls relating to Adult and Children's Social Care, alongside a variety of local authority services including housing repairs, libraries, and heritage services.
This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with vulnerable individuals and emergency situations.
Responsibilities:
Handle emergency calls relating to Adult and Children's Social Care
Gather, assess, and accurately record sensitive information
Liaise with professionals including Police, Health Services, and social care teams
Respond to enquiries relating to housing repairs, libraries, and other council services
Deliver excellent customer service across a range of channels
Essential Requirements:
Previous customer service or contact centre experience
Excellent communication and information-gathering skills
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Windows applications
Ability to work calmly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
Flexible to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and overnight shifts
Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information
