Summary

Reception Duties Greeting and assisting patients and visitors. Answering telephone calls and responding to patient enquiries. Booking, amending and cancelling appointments. Processing patient requests and signposting where appropriate. Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence. Maintaining confidentiality and accurate patient records. Administrative Duties Updating patient demographics and records. Processing workflow and administrative tasks. Managing practice email inboxes. Scanning, photocopying and document management. Maintaining electronic filing systems. Preparing meeting packs, agendas and taking minutes. Maintaining staff records, training records and compliance folders. Supporting audits, patient surveys and Friends & Family Test administration. Assisting with recruitment administration. Maintaining IT equipment inventories and logging support tickets. Supporting patient communication campaigns and general practice administration.
