Crynodeb
Work in a pro-active manner to prevent information, clinical and business process failure from occurring and seek improvements in the service provided to Morecambe Bay Health Community's computer users. Provide the community's clinical and administrative users with basic application support for national applications. The post holder will be expected to assist the Service Delivery Manager to manage high severity incidents out-of-hours, liaising with the Informatics IT Engineer and Senior Manager on-call rota, the Local Service Provider and the Connecting for Health Service Bridge. The post holder will be sympathetic to the appropriate use of the Information Systems within the clinical environment and will offer advice and support in a clinical environment in a manner which will compliment the clinicians ability to deliver patient care. The post holder will be exposed to high pressure situations and will be required to communicate clearly in a sensitive and appropriate manner at all times with all levels of staff. Significant internal and external contact include Consultant Clinicians, Trust Directors, General Practitioners, General Practice System Suppliers and Hospital System Suppliers.
