Summary

Are you an experienced residential childcare professional who prides themselves on running warm, structured, and positive shifts?

We are currently seeking a Residential Team Leader to join an expanding, dedicated children's home in Redditch. This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a culture that genuinely values its staff, provides strong management support, and offers a highly desirable work-life balance.

As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in mentoring support workers, leading day-to-day shifts, and ensuring the young people in the home receive the highest quality of therapeutic care. You will work within a supportive ecosystem, closely aligned with the home's management and the Responsible Individual, ensuring you are always backed and never left isolated on shift.

The Work Pattern & Pay
The home operates on a two days on, four days off rotation, offering excellent predictability and plenty of time to recharge outside of work.

Hourly Rate: £15.50 – £17.00 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
​Sleep-in Rate: £70 per sleep

​What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for grounded, empathetic leaders who understand the unique dynamics of a children's residential environment. To be successful, you must have:
*A minimum of 18 months’ experience working within an Ofsted-regulated Children’s Residential Home.
*You must already hold, or be actively working towards, a Level 3 or 4 Children’s Residential qualification (or recognised equivalent).
*A Full UK driving licence is essential to support the young people with activities and appointments.
