NJR Management Team (NJRMT)

The NJR Management Team is led by the NJR Director of Operations and supports the work of the NJR Board and the eight NJR Committees. The team is responsible for the overall operational, contract and performance management of the NJR and for the associated communication to support NJR business activities and stakeholder engagement.

The NJR’s services are delivered under two separate contracts, which are overseen, managed and monitored by the NJR Management Team.

These are:

● Contract Lot 2: Statistical Analysis, Solutions and Associated Services

Chris has responsibility for the overall management and strategic direction of the National Joint Registry, ensuring that all NJR programmes are aligned to broader policy direction and national projects; as well as supporting the work of the NJR wider team, the NJR Board and committee members.

Alyson is responsible for managing the NJR’s research programme; processing research applications, supporting the Research Committee and Research Fellows. She also oversees the data and information governance function, handling data and Freedom of Information requests.

Natalia Plejic

Natalia is responsible for managing the NJR’s implant performance work programme and the data quality audit. She oversees the Stage 4 escalation process and the implant notification process, along with supporting the delivery of the Implant Scrutiny and Data Quality Committees.

Chloe Hibbitt

Chloe supports the management of NJR contracts and operational activity measuring progress and performance of NJR outsourced activity. She monitors individual projects, assists with strategic development and also supports NJR’s Committee work programmes to deliver a number of ad hoc operational activities and work-streams.

Rosie manages NJR communication activites that include developing a rolling engagement programme for our Patient Network members, facilitating content flow to promote the NJR workstreams for our newsletters, press and social media awareness-raising opportunities, as well as a focus on maximising our presence at events.

Oscar Espinoza

Manager (interim)

Oscar provides website development advice and maintenance support, alongside taking care of brand and creative design activity across a range of NJR work. He also provides secretariat services for the NJR Editorial Committee, supporting the content development and production processes the NJR Annual Report.

Hamid Rezazadeh
Technical Project Manager

Hamid is responsible for the end-to-end management of the NJR transition projects. He leads requirements gathering, supports the procurement process with technical insights, and ensures providers are held accountable for quality and delivery. He also spearheads a seamless transition and effective deployment.
