Our Opportunity
We are looking for caring, patient, and nurturing Teaching Assistants to work in our new Targeted Mainstream Provision.
You will support TMP teachers and play a key role in helping pupils flourish both academically and personally.
Key duties include assisting the teacher in delivering and preparing materials for engaging and inclusive lessons and activities, helping to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
Working under the guidance of the class teacher, you will support pupils within whole-class settings as well as in small groups, providing targeted learning support to enable all pupils to fully engage in their learning and achieve their potential.
This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of an exciting new phase, becoming a key champion for inclusive education for all our children.
You will have:
• Relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent
• An awareness of child/young person’s development and learning
• An understanding that children/Young people have differing needs
• Experience appropriate to working with children in a learning environment (This can be as part of the level 2 course placements)
