Are you a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Support Worker looking for flexible agency work? Do you hold a valid All Wales Manual Handling Passport and have a genuine passion for improving the lives of others?
We are currently seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our growing team in Ystrad Mynach, providing high-quality care and support to adults with a range of needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a trusted care provider while benefiting from the flexibility, variety, and rewards of agency work.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, person-centred support with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household duties.
Build positive, meaningful relationships by offering companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to enhance wellbeing.
Promote independence by supporting individuals to access community activities, attend appointments, and maintain an active lifestyle.
Safely assist with mobility and transfers using approved Moving and Handling techniques, ensuring dignity, comfort, and safety at all times.
Support individuals who may present behaviours of concern, responding calmly, patiently, and professionally.
Encourage and empower clients to achieve their personal goals, develop life skills, and maximise independence and quality of life.
What We’re Looking For
Valid All Wales Manual Handling Passport – essential
Minimum of 6 months’ UK-based care or support experience
A caring, patient, and professional approach
Strong reliability and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts as required
