Network Rail carries out essential engineering works across the Greater Anglia network to maintain and improve the railway, helping ensure your journeys run smoothly and reliably.
The easiest way to check if your journey is impacted by engineering works is through our booking engine and app.
Major works are usually published 12 weeks in advance. However, if you wish to look further ahead for Greater Anglia services, you can use the service alterations calendar below.
Rail Replacement buses
As rail replacement bus pick up and drop off points are often located some distance from the station, passengers are advised to purchase a paper ticket or eTicket before they travel when rail replacement bus services are in operation due to engineering works.
We love getting you where you need to go by train. If engineering works means we can't run Greater Anglia services, we will look to provide ticket acceptance with other train operators, divert trains on another route, or provide a rail replacement bus or coach service.
