Weekender Train Ticket FAQs
Our cheap Weekender return train tickets start from £28.
For same day weekend journeys, train tickets can sometimes be cheaper if you book in advance. If you book last minute, a good way to save is by booking an Off-Peak ticket as there are no Peak restrictions on the weekend, so it'll be cheaper than buying an Anytime ticket.
If you're returning on a different day, it can be cheaper to travel with our Weekender or Advance ticket .
The Weekender train ticket costs the same if you book on the same day or ahead of time. The cheapest advance train tickets go on sale around 12 weeks in advance so it's recommend to try booking early to see if you can buy a cheap train ticket for the weekend.
