Contract Type: Full-time / Long-term (with short-term and day-to-day supply available)
Pay: £95-£110 per day (depending on experience)

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)?


Teaching Personnel is looking for dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join specialist schools across Sheffield. These roles are incredibly rewarding and provide the chance to help pupils overcome barriers, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your role may involve supporting pupils with:

The role requires:
✔️ Patience, empathy, and resilience
✔️ A genuine passion for helping children with additional needs
✔️ Good communication and teamwork skills
✔️ Flexibility to adapt to different needs and settings

Previous experience in schools, care, or youth work is desirable but not essential - we welcome applicants from all backgrounds who are eager to learn.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
