About the Role
A thriving, inclusive primary school in the heart of Croydon is seeking a passionate and creative EYFS Qualified Teacher to join their Early Years team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a recently refurbished EYFS unit with a dedicated outdoor learning area and a supportive, forward-thinking leadership team.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and Development Matters.
Have proven experience teaching in Nursery or Reception (ECTs with strong EYFS placement experience are welcome to apply).
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of phonics schemes (e.g., Read Write Inc. or Little Wandle).
Be skilled in observation, assessment, and creating engaging, child-led learning environments.
Show a commitment to fostering independence, curiosity, and a love of learning in young children.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons aligned with the EYFS curriculum.

Work collaboratively with the EYFS team to track pupil progress using Tapestry or similar platforms.
Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies in line with Croydon Council guidelines.
