Job Overview
Millison Chase Limited Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV C+E Class 1 Drivers for ongoing ADR hazardous goods distribution work across the UK.
We are looking for professional and safety-conscious Class 1 Drivers holding ADR Packages 1–9 certification to carry out nationwide hazardous goods deliveries for a leading transport operation.
This role involves transporting ADR packaged goods to commercial, industrial, distribution, and logistics locations nationwide while maintaining strict compliance with ADR regulations, transport legislation, and site safety procedures.
Drivers will be responsible for ensuring hazardous goods are transported safely, securely, and professionally at all times.
The work consists mainly of day shifts with early morning starts, involving a mixture of local and nationwide deliveries. Some shifts may include multiple delivery points and long working hours depending on route allocation and customer requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced ADR Class 1 Drivers looking for ongoing work, competitive PAYE rates, and long-term opportunities within the hazardous goods transport sector.
Pay & Progression
Days: £16.50 per hour
Weekends: Up to £22.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
Transporting ADR packaged goods nationwide
Completing deliveries to commercial, industrial, and distribution locations
Ensuring hazardous goods are transported in compliance with ADR regulations
Carrying out vehicle and load safety checks before departure
Ensuring all ADR paperwork and transport documentation is completed accurately
Following all driver’s hours and tachograph regulations
Maintaining high safety standards on customer sites and on the road
Reporting defects, incidents, or safety concerns promptly
Operating vehicles safely and professionally at all times
Maintaining excellent customer service standards
Requirements
Valid UK HGV C+E (Class 1) Licence
Valid Driver CPC Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Valid ADR Licence covering Packages 1 to 9
Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience (for insurance purposes)
Good understanding of ADR transport regulations and site safety procedures
Good communication and timekeeping skills
