We are currently seeking Residential Support Workers to join an expanding, welcoming children's home in Redditch. This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a culture that puts the heart back into care, providing a safe, positive, and therapeutic space for both our young people and our staff team.
As a Support Worker, you will be an essential part of the daily lives of the young people in the home—helping them build confidence, life skills, and positive relationships. You will work within a highly supportive ecosystem, closely guided by experienced Team Leaders, a Registered Manager, and a very present Responsible Individual. You will never be left to figure things out alone.
The Work Pattern & Pay
The home operates on a two days on, four days off rotation, offering excellent predictability and plenty of time to recharge outside of work.
Hourly Rate: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Sleep-in Rate: £70 per sleep
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for grounded, resilient, and caring individuals who genuinely want to make a difference. To be successful, you must have:
*A minimum of 12 months’ experience working with children, preferably within an Ofsted-regulated residential setting or a closely equivalent environment.
*A strong willingness and drive to enrol onto and complete the Level 4 Children’s Residential qualification following the successful completion of your probation period.
*A full UK driving licence is essential to support the young people with school runs, activities, and appointments.
