What You Will Be Doing
As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter / HGV Fitter you will be responsible for:
- Servicing and repairing HGVs, LGVs and commercial vehicles to DVSA and manufacturer standards
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults on HGVs, trailers and LGVs as an experienced HGV Mechanic
- Completing inspections, maintenance and documentation accurately
- Supporting workshop productivity and maintaining a clean, safe working environment
- Staying up to date with technical training and new technology as a Commercial Vehicle Technician

What You Will Need
To be considered as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, LGV Fitter, HGV Fitter or Commercial Vehicle Technician you will need:
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, LGV Fitter or HGV Fitter within a commercial vehicle environment
- Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / IMI or equivalent)
- Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Class 1 licence (desirable)
