At The Caledonian Edinburgh, exceptional dining is an essential part of the guest experience. We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to support our kitchen brigade in delivering refined, high-quality cuisine within one of the city’s most iconic hotels.
The Person:
- Passionate about quality, consistency and culinary excellence
- Strong team player with the confidence to lead with a kitchen section
- Highly organise with excellent attention to detail
- Calm and reliable under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Committed to food safety, cleanliness and professional standards.
The Role:
- Take ownership of a designated kitchen section
- Deliver consistently high-quality, well-presented dishes
- Support efficient kitchen operations and minimise food waste
- Uphold all food safety, hygiene and brand standards
- Contribute positively to the development of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present dishes in line with recipes and specifications
- Manage mise en place, portion control and quality at all times
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workstation
- Work collaboratively with the Sous Chef and wider kitchen team
- Support smooth service delivery during busy periods.
