An established care provider is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Home Manager to lead a well-regarded residential care home in Glasgow. The service provides high-quality care for older adults, including those living with dementia, and is looking for a strong leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding resident care and developing high-performing teams.
The Role
As Registered Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and performance of a 50-bed care home. You will lead and inspire a committed team, ensuring the highest standards of care, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day management of the care home.
Ensure exceptional standards of care and resident wellbeing.
Develop, implement, and review care assessments and care plans in line with regulatory requirements.
Recruit, train, develop, and manage care and support staff.
Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation and inspection standards.
Manage budgets and ensure the financial sustainability of the service.
Drive occupancy levels and support local marketing initiatives.
Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, local authorities, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager or Deputy Manager ready to step up.
Experience managing services for older people and/or individuals living with dementia.
Strong understanding of care regulations and compliance requirements.
Proven experience in team leadership, recruitment, and staff development.
Financial and budget management experience.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A genuine passion for delivering person-centred care.
