It introduced the now tried and tested mechanisms for applying to join, verification, planning and scheduling audit(s), undertaking audit assessment, Internal Quality Assurance, the decision-making process, the certification issue, publication, and what happens when it does not always go to schedule (limitation and failure).

Joint effort matters

One of the benefits of RISAS being managed and overseen by RSSB is that we host and monitor a lot of safety data and intelligence ourselves. We are an extra pair of eyes and ears on the process, aiding the sharing of information across the supply chain while protecting anonymity and ensuring validity of complaints and reports before any action is taken.
