How do I...
36W and 40W Panels
36W and 40W panels are similar in their set up, both requiring an 'A frame' wooden construction to be housed within. A firm and stable base should be set up with extra support or struts as applicable to the terrain conditions. NOTE: Due to the slight difference in dimensions between 36W and 40W panels, 'A frame' constructions are best arranged to hold only one type of panel at a time. |

| Laying two solar panels next to each other, attach two pieces of wood horizontally to the top and bottom of the panels. The wood can be attached to the panels with screws, through the pre-drilled holes found around the solar panel frame. The solar panels should be sandwiched together securely, and the cables free from any fastenings. |

| Arrange two long wooden posts on top of each other, drill a hole through both approximately 15-20cm down and attach a long screw, nut and washer through the posts at the top to act as a hinge. Repeat this process so you have two separate adjustable 'A frame' structures. | ![]() |

Lay the two tall wooden posts next to each other, at a distance apart which matches the width of the solar panels already secured together in part 1. Position the panels approximately two thirds up the frame and secure the panels to both of the 'A frame' posts using screws/nails. |

Set the angle of the panels by adjusting the width of the 'A frame' posts. Secure the angle through the addition of two flat posts positioned at the base of the structure held through bolts. Further support to this base frame can be provided by supporting rocks/weights (photo above) or stakes in the ground (photo below). The structure can also be secured further and flex prevented through the addition of a cross post, placed at the back of the 'A frame' arrangement. |
