Leigh Redman, a Bridgwater resident for all of his life, is a councillor for Bridgwater town and Somerset Councils.

He is the nuclear spokesman for the town council and their representative on the SSG.

An engineering background that started as an apprentice on Hinkley Point A Station when under the Central Electricity Generating Board.

Over the years Leigh has worked on both sites as a sub-contractor.

Leigh hopes to build community engagement as Hinkley SSG chair.
