I have lived in the locality of Trawsfynydd Power Station all my life. I have been married to Ann for over 40 years and have three grown up children and are expecting our first grandchild this summer.

Having worked in the agricultural and meat sector for over 30 years followed by 10 years in the care sector I am now semi-retired. I have been elected as a Gwynedd Councillor for the Trawsfynydd, Gellilydan and Maentwrog wards for a second term. I am also a member of the Snowdonia National Park Authority and chairman of the Performance & Resources Committee, Governor on both local and secondary schools and  a founder member of Ynni Cymunedol Twrog which aims to secure funding for local energy projects.

When time allows my hobbies include electric mountain biking, caravanning, classic tractors and minis.
