NRS socio-economic funding scheme

NRS funding is available to support activities that benefit the social or economic life of communities close to our sites. The funding scheme is open all year-round. Please visit NRS working with our communities – GOV.UK for further information about how to apply. Here are a few of the projects we’ve supported in 2025/6.

Community volunteering

At NRS we are committed to supporting the communities around our sites – not only through funding but also through hands-on support. Our employee volunteering programme in partnership with Neighbourly enables employees to dedicate their time, skills and expertise to local charities and community projects that need extra help.
