Data for 1927-1929 were supplied by the Melbourne Harbour Trust, Melbourne, Victoria. Values are based on readings of high and low water.
=========================== FOLLOWING PSMSL DOCUMENTATION ADDED 02-MAY-95 :
station density along some sections of the Australian coast has meant that station codes 601 onwards have been re-ordered compared to those in earlier versions of the PSMSL data set.
=========================== FOLLOWING PSMSL DOCUMENTATION ADDED 17-MAY-96 :
Revised data values for the period 1966-1985 were supplied by the National Tidal Centre, Bureau of Meteorology, South Australia.
=========================== FOLLOWING PSMSL DOCUMENTATION ADDED 29-Oct-2014 :
This station cannot be made RLR as there is no datum information available from the National Tidal Centre.
=========================== FOLLOWING PSMSL DOCUMENTATION ADDED 22-Jan-2016 :
A value of MTL-MSL=14 mm has been derived by Philip Woodworth in preparation of his MTL/MSL manuscript. In this case the values were derived using from the GESLA2 (high-frequency tide gauge) dataset using harmonic constituents. As the correction is only applied to RLR data and the data from 1927-1929 is metric, it is not used in the data set. Should this period become metric in future, however, it would be used.
