Find out if your business can switch water retailer

Most businesses, charities and public sector organisations in England can choose their water and wastewater retailer.

In Wales, you can choose your water retailer if your business premises use more than 50 million litres of water a year. But you can’t switch your wastewater retailer.

Check if you already have a retailer – If your premises already have a water or wastewater retailer, you are likely to be eligible.  Find your current retailer

Check your eligibility – If you do not currently have a retailer, your eligibility depends on:

Multiple or new premises? – You must check eligibility for each premises separately. If you have a new premises and are eligible, you can contact any retailer to provide services. If you do not choose one, a retailer will be appointed for you.
