Guidance on recording Growth and Skills Short Course Offer for new starts from 1 August 2026 is now available under 'Guidance for funding streams'.

Guidance on Completing the Hours Record Entity is available under 'Understanding the ILR', Recording T Level and T Level Foundation Year under 'Guidance for funding streams' has also been updated to reflect Hours Record changes.

Recording apprenticeship financial data under 'Recording Apprenticeship Programmes' has been updated with the new apprenticeship financial type RIP Price Reduction.

Guidance on recording Skills Bootcamps using Event Indicators, an introduction of a Learning Delivery Funding and Monitoring type (EVI) from 1 August 2025 is now available under 'Guidance for funding streams' .

Guidance on recording Student Engagement FTE and Calculating FTE in the 'Additional Guidance for recording Higher Education Data' section under 'Guidance for funding streams' has been updated.

Code lists for the Qualification on Entry and Major Source of Tuition fields have been added to the 'Additional Guidance for recording Higher Education Data' section under 'Guidance for funding streams' .

Where codes have an end date of 31 July 2025 in the Qualification on Entry and Major Source of Tuition fields, the codes to be used for new starts are included in the 'Additional Guidance for recording Higher Education Data' section under 'Guidance for funding streams' .

Due to the removal of Apprenticeship Frameworks, guidance has been removed where appropriate.

Guidance on what to do when a student has partially completed a T Level in year 1 then transfers to a different provider in year 2 has been incorporated in the 'Recording T Level programmes on the ILR' section under 'Guidance for funding streams' .
