Duxford Summer Air Show

Throughout the weekend, families enjoyed a packed showground, including free fairground rides, interactive STEM themed activities, crafts, living history and museum exhibits.

The Austrian Flying Bulls delighted visitors with formation flypasts and solo performances featuring five classic American aircraft from their collection, including the F4U-4 Corsair and P-51D Mustang.

A highlight of the weekend was the performance of the Cold War MiG-17 fighter. Made famous during the Vietnam War as an adversary to the American F-4 Phantom II, the MiG-17F could outmanoeuvre many supersonic jets of the era.

The Royal Jordanian Falcons brought their colourful aircraft and precision flying to the Duxford Summer Air Show for the first time. A spectacle of skill and synchronicity, the team proved a popular attraction for visitors of all ages.

Living History Groups brought the past to life across Duxford's historic airfield and showground through objects, encampments and historic fashions.

In celebration of 250 Years of American Independence, crowds were treated to the sounds of American rock-and roll classics.

Crew members of the bright red DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft wowed visitors with stories of pioneering scientific endeavors in Antarctica and beyond.

Visitors enjoyed great weather and an afternoon of flying at Duxford Summer Air Show.
