Details

HM Revenue and Customs’ (HMRC) Transformation Roadmap was published in July 2025 and outlined the government’s vision for a more efficient, modernised and automated tax and customs system.

This progress update shows how the changes being made are allowing HMRC to collect more of the tax that is due while enabling individuals and businesses to focus more on what matters to them — contributing to the government’s aim to boost economic growth.
