The report was republished to correct a calculation error on benefit receipt and the description of the median affordability indicator.

The fuel poverty statistics report for 2026 includes:

• the latest statistics on the number of households living in fuel poverty in England
• final estimates of fuel poverty in England for 2024
• analysis of the composition of the fuel poor group in 2024 and 2025
• projections of the number of households in fuel poverty in 2025 and 2026
