Booking public events and conditions of sale

  • The National Archives reserves the right to refuse admission to people who do not adhere to its visitor regulations.
  • Tickets are for personal use only and cannot be resold or transferred. They also cannot be used for promotional, commercial or fundraising purposes without prior written permission from The National Archives.
  • Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • Every effort will be made to admit latecomers, but late admission is not guaranteed.
  • The National Archives reserves the right to make alterations to the event's programme.
  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the building.
  • Food and drink may only be consumed in the designated areas.
  • Food, drink, coats, and bags, are not permitted in events that include original records.
  • If you are booking on behalf of a party, you accept these terms and conditions on behalf of all members of your party.
