Lynsey Duffield
Biography
Lynsey has extensive senior leadership and programme delivery experience across both the public and private sectors. Since joining NISTA, she has led work across housing, transport and water reform, providing advice and support to departments, senior responsible owners and government leaders. She has played a key role in supporting major cross-government priorities, including EU Exit readiness, machinery of government changes and complex governance and reform programmes. A Chartered Project Professional and graduate of the Major Projects Leadership Academy, Lynsey brings expertise in navigating programmes through complexity and building effective partnerships to improve delivery across government.
Director of Project Delivery
Leads NISTA’s Delivery Directorate, which provides strategic oversight and support across government’s most complex and nationally significant programmes. The Delivery team brings together project delivery, commercial and sector specialists to help departments overcome delivery barriers, navigate critical investment and assurance decisions, and improve outcomes. The Delivery team works across the Government Major Projects Portfolio, the Early Development Portfolio and wider departmental portfolios as required.
