About ALABARÉ

Based at Riverside House in Salisbury, ALABARÉ’s VALOUR-recognised centre leads a partnership of seven military charities delivering joined-up veteran support across the South West of England.

ALABARÉ has been supporting veterans since 1991, operating over 30 Homes for Veterans across the South West and Wales. It’s a key delivery partner of Op FORTITUDE, the government-backed centralised referral pathway designed to support veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

The Salisbury centre coordinates access to housing, health, employment and wellbeing support for veteran community in the South West.

Staff are on site from 8am to 5pm weekdays, with some cover on weekends. They provide support particularly around housing and can signpost and support veterans to support for all other needs.

They accept referrals both directly from individuals and from support partners.
