Get ready for EQ-5D-5L: mapping from 3L

NICE are offering training on how to map between the EQ-5D-3L and EQ-5D-5L to prepare for the implementation of the value set later this year.

This is designed to support stakeholders who are responsible for developing or reviewing the health economic models that inform NICE recommendations.

The session will:

  • summarise the background research and data the mapping model is based on

  • describe in simple terms what the model does and does not do.

  • clarify how health states and values are linked by the model

  • explain what "bandwidth" is

  • demonstrate software commands in Excel, Stata and R.

We are offering 4 training dates, but you need only attend one session:

  • Thursday 23 July, 9:30am to 11am

  • Wednesday 29 July, 11am to 12:30pm

  • Monday 7 September, 9:30am to 11am

  • Thursday 17 September, 11am to 12:30pm.
