To support effective management by industry and transparency around quota use, the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) monitors UK fish quota uptake via weekly quota uptake reports.

Data covers sector (producer organisations) and non-sector vessels and are updated weekly to track how much of the UK’s quota has been utilized.

The level of catches and landings of key quota species are monitored throughout the year through a series of weekly reports.

The management of these quotas is through a system of allocation to various producer organisations.
