Details

The BHC supervises the hallmarking activities of the 4 UK assay offices to ensure there is adequate provision of hallmarking in the UK. The BHC is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade (BIST).

The framework document sets out the broad framework within which the BHC operates, and its relationship with BIST.
