Replace a lost, stolen or damaged Driver CPC card

You must replace your Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card if it’s been lost, stolen or damaged.

You can get a £50 fixed penalty for driving professionally without your card.

There’s a different way of replacing a Driver CPC in Northern Ireland.

You can apply for a replacement card (sometimes called a ‘driver qualification card’ or ‘DQC’) online or by phone.

It costs £25.

You’ll need your driving licence number to apply.

If you do not know your driving licence number, you can view your driving licence number online. You’ll need to have your National Insurance number.

If you cannot find your driving licence number, you’ll need to replace your driving licence before you apply to replace your Driver CPC card.
