The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office publishes consular data on assistance provided to British nationals around the world. This data is published monthly.
As part of a wider digital change programme, the Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office went live with a new Case Management system on 16 October 2023. The new system captures information about services provided in a different way to legacy systems. As a result of this work, assistance service categories reported have been re-categorised.
Data is accurate and volumes of services reported are correct at time of reporting. Consular service volumes are dynamic and historic cases can change previously-published service volumes.
