Application for approval of financial guarantee or equivalent insurance

You must complete and submit this application if you are submitting a notification under the Waste Shipments Regulation.

     We have updated the WMT2 form. The changes reflect the new rules now that the UK has left the EU. You must not use this form for an import to England from an EU member state.

Details

This ensures there is enough money available for the Environment Agency to deal with the waste if the shipment is not completed. This includes the cost of returning the exported waste to England or Wales.
