  1. We have added a guidance note to clarify that the form cannot be signed using any form of electronic signature.

  2. Form ID1 has been amended as we have agreed with the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC) that CLC-regulated licensed probate practitioners can verify identity even though they may not be conveyancers or solicitors.

  3. Panel 7 has been amended to correct an incorrect panel cross-reference.

  4. We have amended the form as we have decided to continue with the practice we introduced in May 2020 as a result of coronavirus (COVID-19).

  5. We have clarified that, where verification is made by way of a video call, the required screenshot must be in colour.

  6. The form has been amended as a result of customer feedback.
