Tell the Child Benefit office that your child has left education

Use the online service (CH459) to tell the Child Benefit Office that your child aged 16 or over has left approved education or training.

     Information has been added to confirm that only Child Benefit claimants are able to tell the Child Benefit office about a change in circumstances.

How to use the online form

You’ll need to sign in to use this service. If you do not already have sign in details, you’ll be able to create them.

Only the Child Benefit claimant can tell the Child Benefit office about a change of circumstances.

Email HMRC to ask for this form in Welsh (Cymraeg).
