Government Security Centres (GSeCs)
The Government Security Centres (GSeCs) were established to fill a cross-functional gap in delivering simple, streamlined and smarter security services, as well as standardising advice and consultancy services and products by domain experts.
GSeC International
The Government Security Centre International (GSeC International) provides overseas security guidance to public servants travelling overseas on official business.
Protective Security Centre (PSC)
The Protective Security Centre (PSC) helps departments to improve their personnel and physical security standards and reduce risks through a combination of gateway services, capability building and thought leadership work.
Industry Security Assurance Centre (ISAC)
The Industry Security Assurance Centre (ISAC) provides a single hub within government for industry personnel and physical security assurance for those working at SECRET and above.
Security Education and Awareness Centre (SEAC)
The Security Education and Awareness Centre (SEAC) aims to improve security culture across government through behaviour change to reduce human risk through the provision of a centrally coordinated security education.
Cyber services
The Cyber GSeC closed on 1 April 2026.
Some cyber security services previously delivered through Cyber GSeC have moved into the Government Cyber Unit (GCU) within the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).
This change brings cyber security services together in one place and supports delivery of the Government Cyber Action Plan.
