     Multiple changes to Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) syllabus: 1.2 · Removed reference to hydraulic vacuum servobrake circuit · Added examples covering use of electronic and mechanical devices 1.3 · Added references to anticipating traffic flow, distance to other vehicles, vehicles momentum and speed, smooth driving style, tyre pressure, and intelligent transport systems, in regards to optimising fuel consumption Added section 1.3.a. 1.4 · Added reference to use of automatic transmission systems 1.6 · Added reference to use of automatic transmission systems 2.1 · EC regulation changed to NO 561/2006 · EU regulation changed to NO 165/2014 2.2 · Added references to the requirement to carry documents in vehicle, bans of using certain roads, and road-use fees 3.7 · Added reference to dangerous goods and animal transport in regards to different transport specialisations 3.8 · Added reference to disability awareness Removed section 3.9.

The content of Driver CPC periodic training courses must match this syllabus.

Individual courses do not have to cover the full syllabus and can focus on specific aspects, for example, working with customers.

The content of each course must be equivalent to at least a Level 2 National Vocational Qualification.
