The GIRFT national review of Hospital at Home (virtual wards) – what have we learnt so far?
Join Dr Shelagh O’Riordan, Dr Sarah Mercer and Maria Parsonage, GIRFT clinical leads working with the virtual wards team, for the first in a series of community of practice webinars where they will discuss the key themes and learnings from the GIRFT reviews conducted across more than 170 virtual wards since 2023.
In this webinar series we will also look at examples of good practice to support systems to maximise their Hospital at Home services for early supported discharge and admission avoidance.
