Changes or updates can be made to any website and/or these terms from time to time (with or without notice to you), so you must check back regularly to see which terms apply.
Any changes will be effective immediately. Your right to use all of our Websites ceases immediately if you breach any of these terms.
Failure to comply with these terms may also result in an investigation into your fitness to practice. We may also instigate legal proceedings against you, disclosing such information as necessary to the relevant enforcement agencies in connection with the same.

If you are a trainee pharmacist, pharmacist, pharmacy technician, pharmacy owner or employer, The General Pharmaceutical Council (Registration Rules) Order of Council 2010 will also apply to your use of our websites.
Where you are provided with any login details for your accounts on any of our websites, you must keep these details secure and not share them with any third party. If you suspect someone knows your login details, you should change them urgently, and notify us.
Where you provide any information to us through any of our websites, (such as where registering as a pharmacist, pharmacy technician or registering your pharmacy premises), you must ensure that all information you give to us is true, accurate, complete and up to date, otherwise we may not be able to register you or your pharmacy premises.
If you knowingly providing false information this may result in an investigation into your fitness to practise and affect your ability (or your premises ability) to join the GPhC register. You must promptly update such information if it changes, to keep it true, accurate, complete and up to date. In any event, you must notify us within one month of any change to your address, the name you practise in, or the contact details we hold for you.

Content on our websites contains guidance, standards and frameworks which pharmacy professionals and pharmacy owners are required to follow. You should seek specialist advice before taking, or not taking, any action based on any website content, including legal advice or speaking with your premises insurers or professional indemnity provider if you are a pharmacy professional.
We endeavour to ensure that all information contained on our websites (including information contained in the online search register and any third-party information, products or materials) is accurate, complete and up to date, however we give no warranty (express or implied) that any content on any Website is complete, accurate or up to date.
Our online applications portal may publicise GPhC vacancies and Associates and Partners positions. We do not list job roles provided by third parties.
Content of our websites, and any material published on any of them, are protected by copyright laws and other intellectual property rights and are owned either by us or our licensors, unless specifically stated otherwise. All such rights are reserved.
Any names, images and logos featured on any of the websites are owned by us or our licensors. You are not permitted to use them without the prior written approval of us or the relevant licensor.
Content from any of our websites may be extracted and downloaded for your own personal use. We provide MS Word forms for you to print off or download, fill out and submit to us. Except for these MS Word forms or as otherwise expressly stated by us, you must not modify any other paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded from our websites in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.
Our status (and that of any identified contributor) as authors of any content on any website must always be acknowledged (except where the content is user-generated).

The information that we provide on our websites sets out our requirements for pharmacy professionals and pharmacy owners and employers practising in or operating in Great Britain. The information that we provide in relation to our registration assessment also applies to student and trainee pharmacists who are located in, or who intend to practise in Northern Ireland. We do not guarantee that content available on or through any of our websites is appropriate or available for use in any location outside Great Britain other than for student and trainee pharmacists located in Northern Ireland.
We will not be liable for losses of profits, sales, business or revenue, business interruption, loss, disruption or damage to any data or computer systems, loss of anticipated savings, loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation, or any losses reasonably foreseeable to both parties when you accept these terms and conditions in order to use our websites.
We do not exclude or limit our liability to you in any way that would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
We expressly exclude liability for actions taken in response to breaches of these terms. The actions described in these terms are not limited and we may take any other action we reasonably deem to be appropriate to enforce our rights and protect our legitimate interests.
If you are a consumer (i.e. a member of the public or a student or trainee pharmacist) and any free defective digital content that we have supplied, damages a device or digital content belonging to you and this is caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation.
However, we will not be liable for damage caused by you failing to correctly follow any installation instructions or to have in place any minimum system requirements advised by us as set out in section 7 below.
We cannot guarantee to you that any of our websites will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You must configure your own IT, computer programs and devices to access any of our websites, and you should always use your own virus protection software.
You must not misuse any of our websites by knowingly introducing any malicious or technologically harmful material, including viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of any website, including the server(s) on which the website(s) is/are stored, or any server, computer or database that may be connected to any website and you must not attack any of our websites via denial-of-serve attack (distributed or otherwise).

This includes using (or attempting to use) any robot, scraper or other automated device, program, tool, algorithm, code or process to access, copy, monitor or republish any part of our website, or any data, content, information or services accessed via the same.
Failure to comply with any of the prohibitions in this section 7 could be a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990 or where any personal data is involved, breach the UK GDPR. Any breach will be reported to the relevant authorities, and we reserve the right to disclose your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our websites will cease immediately.
Our websites are available free of charge. We do not guarantee that our websites, or any content contained on them, are always available or uninterrupted.
Availability of all or any part of any of our websites may be suspended or withdrawn for business and operational reasons at any time (without notice). These terms, their subject matter and formation, are governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any such disputes or claims (contractual or otherwise) except that if you are a consumer (i.e a member of the public or a student or trainee pharmacist) and you are a resident in either Northern Ireland or Scotland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland or Scotland as appropriate.

- in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect;
- to violate the rights of others;
